About the Columbine Showroom

Columbine Showroom has been family owned and operated for over 30 years. Dean and Jack Burchfield started out on Wynkoop Street and slowly grew their way to the Denver Design District. They are proud to offer a wide selection of today's finest furniture including brands such as Bernhardt, Drexel Heritage, Brown Jordan, E.J. Victor and Marge Carson.

The heart of Columbine is the longevity of their sales team, ranging from 5 to 30 years with the company. Columbine continues to establish a comfortable and reliable shopping experience and have always strived to find the best, most distinctive lines throughout the industry. With this knowledgeable sales team and dedication to create a wide selection of product, there is no denying that you will be able to find the "perfect" item for the "perfect" space.

Meet our team:

Dean Burchfield, Owner

Dean built this business 30 years ago with his partner and
father, Jack. Dean is married to Nancy and has two kids,
Katie and Tim. If Dean isn't at the showroom, you will probably
find him on the golf course.

 

 

Nancy Burchfield, Bookkeeper

Nancy, wife of Dean, is a retired teacher of 26 years in the Cherry Creek school district. She has been at Columbine for six years helping Dean out with the books. Nancy loves to knit and spends her summers on the golf course.

 

 

Katie Burchfield, Showroom Manager

Katie has worked at Columbine for 4 years. She graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in speech communications. She is married to her husband, Dan and doesn't go anywhere without her dog, Chico.

 

 

Doug Morrison, Salesperson

Doug is Columbine's first employee where he started his career at Columbine 30 years ago on Wynkoop. Doug enjoys spending time with his family on the weekend, skiing and hitting a few golf balls every now and then.



 

Barbara Dooley, Salesperson

Barbara has been a member of Columbine's family for 12 years. She received her interior design degree from Kansas State. Barbara is married to her husband Jim and has a daughter Britney who attends Colorado State University.

 

 

Jan Mitchell, Salesperson

Jan has been with Columbine nine years now.  She enjoys traveling with her husband Gary and spends her free time making beaded jewelry. Jan has been a volunteer for the Colorado Scottish Festival for over ten years.

 

 

Kristin Drake, Salesperson

Kristin is the newest member of our team. She graduated from the Metropolitan State College of Denver with a degree in Fine Art. She has also taken coursework in Interior Design at Arapahoe Community College. In her free time she enjoys making and viewing art, spending time outdoors, and being with her friends, family and pets.
